We have been a privately owned and operated iron foundry since 1951 and we believe the manufacturing process of a quality casting would never succeed by one person. They're produced by the complementary skills of a team of people.
Contact Jay for any of your custom iron casting projects.
Jay earned his AAS in Management while working full-time at an aluminum foundry in Michigan. The vast majority of his experience comes from green sand operations and no-bake molding.
Since 18 years of age Jay has worked in foundries, with the last six of those years in leadership positions.
Jay joined Russelloy the summer of 2019 and has made a positive impact on our operations.
"Continuous improvement is my goal for Russelloy Foundry. Anticipating potential problems before they occur, and taking action to prevent them is personally rewarding because I enjoy helping our customers."
Before joining Russelloy Foundry in 2019 Fred spent 30 years working as a quality control and process improvement manager for a global company based in Iowa.
After years of travel, he decided it was time to slow down and stay closer to his family in Durant, Iowa.
Fred implemented Lean Six Sigma with our production workers which has helped to improve process efficiencies and overall quality to our finished products.
Todd started GlobalTech, a global sourcing company, in 2003 and acquired Russelloy Foundry in Durant, Iowa in 2014. Since Russelloy specializes in low volume, large castings (25 to 1250 lbs) and GlobalTech sources higher volume, smaller castings offshore they are a perfect match!
These relationships have been the foundation of Todd's ability to assist OEM’s in design to production, warehousing, and final assembly.
